• • Description: We procure our pesticide-free red poha from a small farmer’s collective in Tamil Nadu. Our farmers cultivate the Red Matta variety of paddy without using synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and GM seeds::Red poha is rich in anthocyanins, natural pigments which are beneficial. When red poha is soaked, these pigments are released, turning the water red or pink.
