Description

This vibrant dish draws inspiration from Brazilian cuisine, featuring a delightful pairing of tender chicken and savory steak. The meat is steeped in a bright and zesty marinade, infused with the fresh flavors of cilantro, pungent garlic, and the tangy kick of lime. A touch of red pepper adds a subtle warmth, enhancing the overall complexity of the flavor profile.

The result is a symphony of tastes that dance on the palate, offering a harmonious blend of herbaceous notes, citrusy brightness, and a gentle, pleasant heat. The chicken absorbs the marinade beautifully, becoming incredibly juicy and flavorful, while the steak retains its inherent richness, complemented by the vibrant zest of the marinade. Imagine the aroma that fills your kitchen as these ingredients meld together – a tantalizing invitation to a truly satisfying meal.

Whether you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight dinner or a convenient option for meal prepping, this dish is a versatile choice that can be adapted to suit your preferences. Consider serving it alongside fluffy cauliflower rice to keep things light and healthy, allowing the flavors of the meat to truly shine. Alternatively, pair it with your favorite roasted vegetables for a more substantial and balanced meal.

Think vibrant bell peppers, sweet onions, or earthy zucchini, all roasted to perfection and seasoned with herbs and spices. The possibilities are endless, and the beauty of this dish lies in its adaptability. It's a celebration of fresh, bold flavors that will transport you to the sun-kissed shores of Brazil with every bite.

The combination of textures – the tenderness of the chicken, the slightly chewy steak, and the fluffy rice or crisp-tender vegetables – creates a delightful sensory experience that is both satisfying and memorable. Prepare to be captivated by the vibrant taste and simple elegance of this Brazilian-inspired culinary creation.

Instructions

    1.
In a bowl, whisk together all ingredients except for the chicken and beef. Set this marinade aside for later.
    2.
Chop the chicken and the beef into 2-inch cubes. You may wish to cut the beef before the chicken, wiping your cutting board or surface clean before moving on to the chicken. Place the chicken and beef in their own ziploc bags.
    3.
Pour the marinade equally into both bags. Close the bags and move the chicken and beef around so they get coated in their marinade. Then, roll up the bags and set them both in your refrigerator to marinate overnight or for at least 8 hours.
    4.
When it ’s time to cook, dump ONLY the bag of chicken with its marinade into a large skillet. Cook the chicken on high heat for about 5 minutes - until the chicken is cooked on all sides and just begins to brown.
    5.
Next, dump the bag of beef with all its marinade in the pan. Continue cooking the beef and chicken together for 7-10 minutes, until the proteins are completely cooked through and they have a pan-grilled, golden crisp.
    6.
Enjoy hot, and don forget to scrape all the juices and seasonings out of the pan for serving! You should have about 3 cups total.
