Doctors at KIMS Saveera Hospital treated a 60-year-old woman with a severe heart attack caused by a massive clot blocking a major coronary artery. APEDA facilitated the export of 24 metric tonnes of frozen food products from Haryana's Sonipat to Canada. A lab technician at Russia’s Anti-Plague Research Institute in Siberia has died after developing pneumonia of unknown origin, raising concerns over possible pneumonic plague. A severe, rapidly progressing form of plague, it affects the lungs and is caused by Yersinia pestis. Symptoms include fever, headache, weakness, chest pain and cough, with respiratory droplets potentially spreading infection.
